PayOp is an international payment platform launched in 2017 that combines card acquiring with 500+ local and alternative payment methods across 170+ countries and 100+ currencies. It is operated by Transferop Payment Gateway Ltd., headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, and registered with FINTRAC as a Money Service Business. The platform openly serves digital-goods, gaming and — after enhanced due diligence — iGaming merchants, while adult content, MLM and several other verticals are prohibited. Fees are not published and are quoted per merchant; the company says it reduced pricing and holds in 2024 and completed a rebranding with a new checkout in 2025. Self-reported scale is 10,000+ merchant websites and roughly 1 billion transactions processed, with 95% of merchants onboarded within two business days.

For SMM businesses: Openly targets digital-goods and gaming merchants and accepts iGaming after enhanced due diligence, so its risk appetite covers SMM-panel-type services better than mainstream PSPs; SMM services are not named as prohibited. However onboarding is case-by-case KYB and public reviews document account rejections and holds — approval is not guaranteed.
